Kristin Johnson, PsyD, ABPP obtained a Master of Arts degree in forensic psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2010 and a Doctorate in counseling psychology from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2018. Dr. Johnson has received training in a variety of settings including prisons, county jails, an institute of mental disease, secure sex offender treatment, and inpatient forensic psychiatric hospitals. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Oklahoma Forensic Center and a post-doctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI). She has been licensed in Wisconsin since 2019 and has been credentialed by PSYPACT since 2022. Dr. Johnson is currently employed as a remote competency evaluator by the Early Access and Stabilization Services, a collaboration between Wellpath and the California Department of State Hospitals. She is responsible for evaluations of competency to proceed, brief psychological assessment, consultation, and occasional supervision of post-doctoral psychologists. Dr. Johnson is a Specialist of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Forensic Psychology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology (AAFP). Dr. Johnson is available for general forensic evaluations and consultation.
