Aubrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Human Social Services from Wisconsin Lutheran College and went on to obtain her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina. Aubrey has completed practicum and internships working in residential treatment, physical activity based positive youth development programs, substance abuse treatment, and community based mental health services. She has worked professionally with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, children and adolescents in residential treatment and their families, adults with chronic mental health challenges, and the geriatric population.
Aubrey’s clinical services include child, adult, and family counseling and psychoeducation, as well as group psychotherapy for children and adolescents. Aubrey also presents to the community on stress management, trauma informed care, and suicide prevention. Her treatment approach focuses on fostering a sense of connection, which provides the foundation for skill building and developing achievable goals. Areas of primary clinical interest include maternal mental health, anxiety, ADHD, and improving parent/child relationships. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
