Dr. Amelia Brost earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in Psychology and Criminology. She then received her doctorate from Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2006, in Clinical Psychology. After completing an internship at Ethan Allen School for Boys, part of the Juvenile correctional system, she began working at Southern Oaks girl’s juvenile prison. She has since worked at a county mental health hospital and outpatient non for-profit clinic with children and families. Areas of interest include trauma focused therapies and conducting forensic psychological evaluations.
